Stayed here for two nights in September 2011. Very comfortable room, and the owners made me feel very welcome. I needed to catch an early train on my departure, but the owners got up early to get me breakfast, though it was before the scheduled time.

The owners were welcoming and informative, rooms were clean and reasonably sized, and the breakfast was very good. It is located right in the centre of Wick, which is convenient. There was no obvious parking but as we arrived after 6 we could park outside on the street. Subsequently found out that there is parking around the back. They make... More

Stayed here during summer 2011 (sorry only just got round to leaving a review), but had an excellent stay whilst visiting family. The room was very spacious, clean, and tidy. Breakfast was excellent too. The owners are very friendly, will stay again when in Wick.

The owner was just so welcoming. We had traveled from Balmarcara near Isle of Skye in mostly heavy rain to Wick and it was a delight to arrive in this old town. We are advised on key places to eat and places to see on our one night visit - did the Telford Walk then settled into the local pub... More

Spent one night in this BnB in Feb 2012. We arrived in Wick in darkness and had a bit of trouble spotting the front entrance, which is just a door next to the bank (the clue is in the name!). It could use a couple of spotlights, or something, to make it a bit more noticeable. No parking anywhere near... More

We have stayed 14 nights the Bank House over the last 2 years on our fishing trips to the Highlands. Having stayed at many B&Bs in the Highlands we rate this as the best we have found yet. Rooms are very modern and always imaculate, nice shower rooms and all linen is always crisp and fresh. Breakfast is when you want... More

It was an ok place. The family who run it was very nice and welcoming. We were in a small room overlooking the road. While the room was clean and very satisfactory, the lack of consistency in style bothered me.

Stayed in the guesthouse for 3 days, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The guesthouse is a family run business, who have renovated the rooms over the years, my room had quality bedding and furnishings, plenty of tea coffee and milk. The guesthouse has adequate free parking at the rear, and is within easy walking distance of all the local amenities.... More

A quiet, impeccably clean, reasonably priced, historical guest house ideally located in the center of town. We had a lovely room overlooking the river and were sorry our stay wasn't longer. William and Angela were warm and welcoming hosts, helpful with advice re restaurants and other logistics. Hannah, their daughter, was delightful, well-mannered and helpful (without getting in the way)... More
