Arrived to a friendly welcome from Liz, and shown to our huge rooms which would have any far more expensive hotel struggling to meet. Breakfast weas excellent, Liz's knowledge of that part of Scotland is unrivalled with tours explained in the hotel handbook. Would not bother to look elsewhere in Thurso for another place to stay. Already found the best.

Comfy beds, power showers, flat screen TV and lovely staff, Pentland Lodge House, just a few minutes from the sea, is the place to stay in Thurso. What fun! Guests are greeted at the door by Molly, a lab/ collie mix, who loves pats and is a general favorite. The hostesses are informal and laid back.
