Within easy walking distance of Glasgow SECC. The standard double rooms are very small, basic and not much room to move about in, so thankfully we didn't actually have to spend very much time in the room. Even though the rooms were non smoking there were clear signs of what looked liked cigarette burns on the sofa bed and the... More

Dear Wendy65Scotland Thanks for your recent review and for highlighting a number of areas that require further attention at our hotel. With regards to your comments to cigarette burns on the sofa. Our hotel as you quite correctly mentioned is completely non smoking, but guests can sometimes sneak in a cheeky cigarette without our knowing, and whilst my team conduct... More

My husband and myself stayed at this hotel overnight. The room is similar to a travelodge but smaller. Clean and fresh hotel room,,but the entrance barrier in the car park clattered up and down throughout the night even though the barrier at the exit was not in use. The breakfast was good although no low fat options eg. spread, youghurts, porriage,... More

Second stay at the Campanile,The location is great for the Secc,as we were going to a concert, and to be able to walk across and in five mins you are there is great.Welcoming friendly staff, quick check in no problem's.The twin room we had is not the largest we have ever stayed in but it,was clean and comfortable. The bathroom, a little tired... Dear Firenzi Thanks for your recent feedback and for highlighting the light refurb that is required in the en-suite that you stayed in. This does not come as a surprise to me as we are currently, albeit slowly, replacing and updating some of the en-suites, and refreshing others. We started this at the beginning of the year when it is... More

This hotel is in the perfect location for the SECC, just a five minute walk away. The hotel was clean and functional and we had everything we needed for our overnight stay. My only piece of advice to the hotel management would be that they should maybe look at their restaurant opening times. We arrived at the hotel mid afternoon... More

We stayed 1 night as we had a concert at the SECC, great location for this. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Attention to detail was slightly lacking but nothing major, only 2 bath towels in the room hand towels missing. Shower cubicle slightly tired and in need of some repair (room 210).Liquid marks on the bed frame, didn't want... More

When you live in Edinburgh and go through to Glasgow to watch a show at the SECC, you normally face either a huge battle leaving the car park with hundreds of other cars, or, if you've used public transport, a battle with hundreds of people trying to cram onto the trains to get back to Glasgow city centre. Neither of... More

I read the reviews about this hotel only after I was already very favourably impressed by the attitude I met on two phone calls. Bookings for several of us attending a large conference had been arranged without much consultation, and I wished to change the double booked for my husband and myself to a twin, and to reserve the night... I stay at a wide range of hotels as part of my job. For the money you can't beat the Campanile. Sure it's a bit middle of the road but the staff give you a good welcome. There's free wifi and free parking. The rooms are clean and you're not left feeling ripped off unlike some other chains I could... More
