stayed here 4 nights in a very cold february. We were put in the basement as this seems to be where all the workers are put. it was being modernished and was quiet noisy but at 6pm all stopped every night and silence fell upon our ears. rooms were clean and very cosy and heated to perfection during the cold... we stayed over for a concert at the SECC 21st May 2012, only 10 min walk to the SECC through a tunnel . excellent value for money and the staff were all very helpful and nice , we even got a print out of directions from the receptionist. the room was a wee bit tired looking and the shower only... My husband and I stayed at this hotel as were were going to a gig at King Tut's and didn't want to pay a fortune for a hotel. What we didn't realise was that it was a half hour walk from the bus station! When we finally got to the hotel to check in, we found the receptionist to be... More

I found myself heading up to Glasgow on business and needed one nights B&B in the city centre. Usually I would play it safe and book a Premier Inn, but to but to be honest, I have stayed in so many recently that I just fancied a change. My wife found the Devoncove Hotel online and after looking at the... More

We were a tad suspect when we saw that you could get a night in a 3* hotel in Glasgow for £35 (for two) with breakfast. We were wrong to be suspicious - staff were lovely and the hotel was comfortable... only issue we had was that the bathroom smelt of stale cigarette smoke. They could not get us another... More

Stayed for 2 nights with large family group while attending a funeral in Glasgow. Wish I had the energy at the time to ask for a change of room. We were on the 2nd floor, front of the building, near the lift. Got very little sleep due to: noise from the lift, clunking when moving and just emitting a high... More

Good location, just outside actual centre, plenty of places to eat and drink. Free parking though can be a bit tight! Hotel a bit dated, staff - some good , some not so good, Room was clean but like i say a bit tired, bed was comfy enough, bathroom ok, we were at back of hotel which was pretty quiet,... More

We found this to be a really good value hotel. Our room was a little tired but it was clean and comfortable. Staff were great. Would go back if visiting Glasgow again. The Greek restaurant opposite the hotel was good too. More

My 8 year old and I have stayed here before during our many Glasgow breaks. Last time we visited the city we stayed at a budget place. It was rubbish. Devoncove this time round was great. Hot water aplenty, brilliant hot shower and bath, nice quietish room. Definitely recommend. We lost our room key and they replaced it without fuss.... More
