Attended a social event at this hotel and the staff in the dining room and serving at the bar contributed to a very successful and enjoyable evening. All of the team on duty were pleasant, helpful, patient and yet inobtrusive. Thank you - it makes a real difference when the service is excellent.

Having stayed here previously I was keen enough to stay again but this time found the beds really uncomfortable. Breakfast and food were ok. There is a pool and steam room. All in all its ok if you get a deal but full price it ain't worth.

My experience at the Menzies was very nice. Everyone was friendly and the room was comfortable. The only drawback was that the location was neither near the trainstation (that we came in on or where the majority of the restaurants were. Staff and location were excellent. Rooms require updating Big draw back is no outside sitting area, it was hot for the four days at the hotel but had to stay indoors. There was seven for a Saturday night evening meal in the hotel with six different choice main course, all said meal was just passable, not to four star rating.

Great value for money, food was excellent rooms were clean, comfortable beds, and the facilities available were great we used the spa and pool, location is excellent for secc and the city centre, all staff were very friendly and helpful and car parking available.
