A Typical Travel Lodge, not to dear, handy for city centre. Pleasant 20 minuet river side walk on the way into town. Once you are away from the main roads next to the actual Lodge. Lots of well known nearby restaurant's. Friendly staff who were willing to help at every opportunity. My second stay and would stay again.

A lot of hotels fill rooms with homeless people sent by the Local Council. Most customers are probably unaware, because the homeless people/families don't any problems. This hotel is tired if not exhausted. Decoration in poor state. Carpets in corridors was dirty and sticky. Tom was cold with radiator not working and heated towel rail disconnected for our safety! Shower control was broken bits. Drinks. Machine at entrance out of order and staff very unhelpful. Puts us off ever staying at a travelodge again

Clean sheets, but nothing else was, needs a team of cleaners, too bottom the place. Very cheap so, did not expect much and didn't get much. One little nice touch was when we left the hotel room and returned someone had left a very thoughtful surprise "the incredible floating Jobbie" in my toilet which did not appear on my bill.... More
