I am not sure who has rated this place 3 star. I have been given a room on the opposite side of road, unmanned place, downstairs near the road with noise all the time from vehicles, drunken characters. Poor Carpets, bed, namesake wifi-slow to the core and generally rundown and stale. Please dont make my mistake.

I stayed with my mum in this little bed & breakfast for two nights. It was close to the SECC for our concert on Tuesday. Then a short walk back to Guest House at night. It is across from the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum which we visited the next day and stayed for over 4 hours as there was that much to... I was put in the Guest House opposite the hotel in room 08. The receptionist said Room 08 was at the back of the hotel but in fact at the front so you can hear car sirens, drunken yobs and a party in the pub opposite the road. There is a regular loud engine, mechanical humming and ringing in a... More

When we checked in, we found that we were actually staying at the place across the road - more like a guest house than hotel. There was no-one to help us with our bags and the hotel didn't have any parking. The so-called hotel's restaurant (Sutherlands) is actually a pub and meals are very average. I would not recommend this... More

First, let me say I love places like this--quirky and full of character. If you're looking for a generic hotel experience, don't stay here! My room was on the ground floor, but to get there you had to go downstairs and then upstairs. The bathroom was pink, water pressure was just above a trickle, wifi was slow, the bed was... More

We were looking for a quiet and comfortable hotel near the Kelvingrove Museum and found this hotel. We were given a room over the other side of road which is I suspect the over flow accommodation for the hotel. The room was very basic, the mattress thin and hard and the duvet was too small for the bed. There wa a... More

Stayed here for one night on a last minute booking. We were a bit wary after a previous experience at a nearby hotel but were hopeful as we were told that it had been recently refurbished. Our basement room was to the very front on Sauchiehall Street and whilst we thought that street noise may have been a problem this... More

My husband booked this hotel as a last minute booking because we were going to a show at the Kings Theatre. He was given the last room. We arrived and were advised that we were actually in " the flat". This actually meant that we were in a room across the road in a tenement flat obviously owned by the... More

Spent a few days at the guest house recently. Do not be fooled by the pictures. The quality of rooms varies considerably with most of them situated in the basement. Room 6 where we were initally sent was filthy with an overwhelming stench and a dirty carpet and curtains. There was mould around the bath and a piece of the... More

Don't let the pictures on the internet fool you, This place is a dump. When we arrived the front desk clerk gave us two keys for three rooms. He went on to explain that someone had taken the other key home but he would have a new one made "soon" As we were waitng for the new key we discovered... More
