It sorts of started on the wrong foot. I was on the second floor and the wi-fi connexion didn't work up there (except from the staircase). I was not happy at all and shared my disappointment with the staff. Next morning, when I asked if a room would be available on the 1st floor, the girl already knew about my... More

Thank you for writing this recent response about The Pipers’ Tryst Hotel. We are delighted that you found comfort after a small hiccup at the hotel. Being an old church we have very thick brick walls and the WIFI signal can go ‘in and out’ as you go higher into the building. I am glad that the staff dealt with... More

We stayed for 3 days in April. The room was very small, but clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was good....right on the route of the tour bus. Great food. Would stay here again. Only downside was having to pay for parking. More

Staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was super....can't remember when, or if, I was ever offered peanut butter at breakfast but I love it!! Room was small but adequate for a city stay as we tend not to spend a lot of time there anyway. This hotel is perfect for position in Glasgow. A walk away from the city... More

Thank you for taking time to comment about your recent stay. It is good to hear that you found the hotel handy and convenient for the city centre. We may be at the top of town, but directly in the centre of Glasgow’s Theatreland and at the start of the ‘Style Mile’ Glasgow’s shopping district. We love peanut butter and... More

We had our civil partnership here and it was the most fantastic day. All the staff were great from start to finish and I could not fault anything. The food was amazing both the meal and the canapés, the service was great and the drink was reasonably priced. We had booked all the rooms in the hotel and everyone was... More

My wife and I stayed here twice during our 3 week trek around Scotland. It's located at the top of a main road that is 2 blocks from a main shopping district. Immediately nearby are several pubs, restaurants, cafe's, and car parks. There is a train station and bus depot a few blocks away. The staff were some of the... More

We had friends up visiting from Yorkshire, Scottish and one a piper so thought we would stay there as a sort of gimmick, piping etc etc. Well we thoroughly enjoyed it, rooms spotless, great breakfast and staff so friendly. Our friends thoroughly enjoyed it, they also visited the museum and made some purchases at the shop. Would definitely go back More

Stayed in the hotel after recommendations from friends and was not disappointed. Superb location just minutes walking distance from main Shopping areas in Glasgow. Staff were very helpful and rooms were clean and comfortable. After seeing the menu we decided to eat in the restaurant and were thoroughly impressed. The same staff who welcomed us to the hotel were working... More

Warm and friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble during our stay. The staff let us have a late check out and brought breakfast to our room when my friend became ill overnight. I would not hesitate to stay here again and I will recommend the hotel to everyone looking for a hidden gem in Glasgow. Fantastic!!!! More

Small hotel right in Centre of Glasgow. Very convenient for main shopping areas and theatres. Could do with a bit of touching up and carpets renewed, but was clean and had everything you need. Great breakfast (even for vegetarian). Staff very friendly. Good value More

I spent a night at the Pipers Tryst hotel 3 weeks ago and I have to say I had a good time. I was not looking for a luxurious big place to stay but somewhere cosy and small, and The Pipers Tryst hotel was perfect! To contradict one of the previous review I read, I thought the bed was perfect!... More
