Yes, it's depressingly neglected (Absentee Landlord Syndrome, I guess, plus alienated staff). And PLEASE don't go there if you've got dust allergies. But it's handy, very very cheap, and quiet. The hotel is in an excellent location with direct access to Great Western Road and to Byres Road. It is as within easy walking distance of Hillhead subway.
