What more could you ask for. Close to the town centre, and the golf courses, breakfasts to die for, scrupulously clean, and a lovely atmosphere. Norman and Jackie are two of the nicest people you will ever meet, and visiting Five Pilmour Place is just like visiting your best friends. More

We stayed in Five Pilmour Place for two nights. Jackie was there to welcome us. She had a bunch of local information ready for us and there was more in the bedroom. There was a place to leave the golf clubs in an office outside the building. Breakfast is from 8 am - 9 am and she personally cooks your... More

We had a brilliant stay at Five Pilmour Place - it was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff were lovely and definately went the extra mile wherever they could. The whole hotel was immaculately clean and decorated in a very nice way. It felt modern, comfortable, warm and homely. The location of this hotel is brilliant... More

Very classy, understated, immaculately clean, friendly ... nothing was too much trouble! My mum and I came to celebrate her 75th birthday and I had asked if a bottle of something 'bubbly' could be in our room - which it was (and delicious it was too!) but they also provided a cake with candles (not enough room for 75 of... We spent just 1 night here on Valentines day and this little B&B is adorable. Great location, easy to find, owner just lovely and breakfast is very good. We had currently been travelling through Europe for months and there are just some places that stand out - and this is one of them. The rooms are lovely, very clean &... More

A very lovely place to stay, can't imagine there's a better B&B in St Andrews. Actually, it's more like staying in a small, friendly boutique hotel, such is the quality. Great location, handsome old building, beautifully renovated. The furnishings/decor are an attractive and tasteful mix of contemporary and traditional, everything is of a high standard, no corners cut. We booked... More

We stayed here during a recent trip to Scotland and were looking for an overnight stay in St Andrews. We were very pleasantly surprised. The host was welcoming, knowledgeable and gave good advice regarding the town and recommended restaurants. The room itself was spacious, very very clean and decorated in a charming manner. Massive comfortable bed and a very decent... More

My daughter and I stayed for a week at Five Pilmour Place. She was starting the University of St. Andrews and we needed a base in town.
