I stayed in a single room, which was small but comfy and perfect for my needs. The bathroom was very nicely renovated, and included a towel warmer, which was fun. The only downside to the bathroom was relatively weak water pressure, but this is understandable given the age of the house – and, I believe, was completely made up for... More

Ray and Maggie were by far the nicest people we met in all of the guesthouse we stayed at in our 3 week trip over Scotland and Ireland. Their home was spotless. Food was wonderful. They were so accommodating to everything we need. I couldn't hope for a nicer guesthouse w nicer people. I wouldn't consider any other hotel, b... More

Glenderran Guest House is warmly recommended to anyone whether they play golf or not! The location is perfect within walking distance to everything. We were very impressed with the warmth from both our hosts and the house itself. A cleaner and better maintained guest house would be hard to find. The professional host team of Maggie and Ray made the... More

This was our second stay with Ray and Maggie. They haven't missed a beat in five years. We even had the same room as the first visit. Everything was just as clean and neat as before. And Maggie is still a wonderful cook. Breakfast was perfect every day. More

Spent a week at the guest house. Ray and Maggie are wonderful hosts and make you feel at home. The breakfast selections are good and the food is prepared as requested and very filling. My room was clean and well maintained, the only negative was the room was very small with a small shower. I would recommend a double for... More

This week was my second stay at Glenderran. Ray and Maggie are excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming. The house itself is very well maintained with nice en-suite rooms and comfortable beds. The breakfasts are extremely nice and filling (just what's needed before a day's golf oe touring). The location is excellent, a short walk to the 18th green of... More

I just returned from a two week golf trip through Scotland, which included three nights at the Glenderran Guest house. Maggie and Ray made me feel at home and everything was simply perfect. Best parts were: the short walk to the 1st tee at the Old Course, excellent breakfast, hot showers and comfortable pillows and bed. What an incredible value... More

During our visit to the town and university of St. Andrews we had a wonderful stay at Glendarran. The guest house is perfectly located in the town centre, with the coast and many university buildings nearby. Our room was at the same time cosy, comfortable and luxurious - we hardly wanted to leave it! Maggie and Ray are wonderful hosts!... More

As a group of 4 ladies on a winter golf package we had a little bit of prior info from one of our group but were absolutely surprised and delighted with the welcome and standard of food and accommodation at Glenderran.
