This hostel is 1 minute away from everything - very central! Staff were very friendly and patient. Rooms are a bit shabby (at least the one we were in) but showers are clean. Good value for money. More

It's cool and friendly. Obviously not perfect, but it's proportional to the price. The bathrooms are a bit old and not too tidy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It has a kitchen. Would reccommend it if you find nothing cheaper. More

We found the st andrews tourist hostel to have filthy bed linen (hair, dust and flakes of who-knows-what) , which we were expected to feel comfortable about sleeping in by lying on top of it in a sleeping bag liner. the toilets and showers are shared sex, which call me a prude but i prefer to shower with my own...
