Stayed here recently for one night. The hotel is easy to find, situated a little way out of the town but next to a garage and shop.Staff were very friendly and helpful and the reception area was well-kept and clean. Our family room was large and again, very clean with a sofa and comfortable double bed.Tea and coffee were provided and snacks were available... This Travelodge very much does what it says on the Travelodge tin. It's a comfortable nights sleep in a reasonably well sound insulated room with no frills. At £19.00 a night saver rate - really what could you possibly complain about! Having said that, I had no complaints irrespective of the nightly cost. The hotel was clean, and the staff... More

I live in Spain and stayed at the hotel while visiting my family. On arrival I was made very welcome, I found all of the staff that I met to be very friendly, pleasant and helpful. The room was absoloutely spotless. As an ex hotel housekeeper I am very fussy but could not fault anything and the bathroom was gleaming,... More

This TL seems to be in the middle of nowhere however it's clean and well kept, and there's a Chinese Buffet only 100 yards away. No receptionist but she turned up quick after ringing the bell and apologised as she was doing another task, which I thought was quite acceptable. She was friendly enough and knew where all the local... More

Stayed at Glenrothes for two nights with my family and Labrador dog in a Family Room, arriving late isn't a problem.. The lodge is very clean both in the public areas and the room itself. The lift is quick and also clean. The staff at Glenrothes are probably the most friendly and helpful in any Travelodge we have stayed in. Nothing... More

Stayed here recently for 2 nights with a couple of friends. It's very basic and not that great looking but if you just require a place to sleep then it is more than adequate. Again the staff were a great help when we asked for extra pillows etc. The only main problem is the location isn't that great......you're in the... More

Travelled through to attend a funeral and stayed here the night before. Clean place and friendly staff. Stayed in the family room as it was a cheap booking. Don't have too much else to say except the bath in the en suite had a chunk of enamel/plastic missing but I wasn't too bothered. Shower was great and I felt so... More

Had some initial problems finding the hotel with the satnav, it takes you to an industrial site (which others mentioned) but quite quickly found the hotel. It is a modern hotel about 8 years old and is still in good condition. I could not fault the hotel other than the mattress was on the soft side. I mentioned this to... More

A few of us were in Scotland for work and needed somewhere cheap to rest our heads at the end of the day. I've stayed in a few nightmare Travelodges, and some not-so-bad, so I knew I was throwing caution to the wind when I booked in here. Overall, as far as Travelodge hotels go, this one isn't bad. It's... More

Typical Travelodge - functional, clean and friendly. Bit out of the way although there is a Chinese Buffet and a BP Garage close by and a Brewers Fayre a little further away. Only grouch during the stay was that the lift wasn't working all the while we were there - it seems to take a while to get these things... More
