We visited Haigs resturaunt for lunch and took the special menu of £7 for 2 courses. The food was excellent and portion sizes were great. The only thing I would say was that it wasn't very busy but the service was extremely slow for lunch time as it took 35 mins before we were served our starters. Overall good. More

No clear reception area. You are left to fend for yourself. Staff do the bare minimum. No attempt to exceed your expectation. Bed had no mattress cover or a sheet next to duvet.
