Went in for a casual Saturday night meal. Food was amazing, and the service was exceptional. I ordered a steak, and I have to say it is best I've ever had: tender and juicy.I had a piece of my friends pork belly too, it was delicious. Not only is the food fantastic but the view of the 2 bridges makes... More

My wife has a Forth Bridge fetish, she thinks it is the most beautiful thing in the world ! We stayed for three nights in a comfortable room with a view of the bridge. The staff were helpful and the overall service was very good. The continental breakfast included in the b&b rate was good. There's plenty of choice on... More

I;ve stayed in this hotel a few times now. in different rooms both at the front and the back of the building. I;ve and always found the rooms clean and well serviced and appreciate the coffee / tea making facilities. The meals have been fine for my palate and the self-service continental breakfast excellent. As for the noise from the... More

Have stayed here a couple of times prior to flying off on holiday, we love it, parents also booked a room this time and were equally impressed. We both had family rooms and ours was at the front with great views! Both rooms were really spacious, clean and had everything we needed but with added value of views that are... More

We weren't sure whether to play it safe with a big standard chain hotel, or this place. The reviews were a little mismatched but in the end we took a chance and we were massively pleased that we did! I can understand that some people would be put off by the train noises, but at the end of the day... More

I have visited the Hawes Inn several times for lunch or dinner and have found the food quality variable. On our last visit a week ago, when we asked about making a room reservation for a few weeks hence, we found we were unable to do so and were instructed to visit the Inkeepers Lodge website. I attempted to make... More

Having looked at the great reviews about the Hawes we were looking forward to our 1 night stay.We were given a disabled room and that was fine as we had paid extra for a front room.Unfortunately it made showering a bit difficult as the shower-head was so low down. The disabled seat in the shower was also a bit dirty. We went... We stayed three nights and after a disturbed night's sleep the first night, due to the close proximity of the trains on the Fourth Rail Bridge we settled down and ended up really enjoying our stay. The staff were very friendly, the only problems encountered were with our somewhat complicated booking in process, once that was sorted we were happy... More
