I stayed here with my sister last weekend and would say that with out a doubt The Victorian Town House ticks all the boxes... warm, nicely decorated rooms, with comfy beds, access to WIFI, really tasty breakfasts, and a warm and friendly hostess. I definitely recommend staying here if you ever get the chance to visit Edinburgh. More

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Edinburgh as part of a larger trip around the UK. Can't say enough good things about this place. The rooms were clean, warm, and well decorated. The complementary whisky and chocolates were grand, and the breakfasts were delicious. Will definitely be calling in again if I ever find myself back in Edinburgh! More

Aileen is a very good hostess. But one can get better accommodation in Edinburgh for less. Things I did not like. No parking, no good views as the rooms are in the basement. Average breakfast. If this was a rating for hostess this would rate high but not for comparable accommodation in Edinburgh for the price. More
