Staff are absolutely lovely, and went out of their way to make out stay perfect. Lovely clean rooms, and an amazing breakfast. Good location with frequent buses to get into the city centre! Perfect stay and made for a perfect new year =) Thank you!

Staff at Alba Hills Guest House were friendly, professional and super-helpful. The breakfasts were delicious, the rooms large and warm, and the building has charm & elegance.. Fantastic location for exploring Edinburgh, and a great Indian restaurant across the street:) We loved it, and when we come back to Edinburgh we'll be staying here again for sure!

“good location and good shopping and restuarants”

a wee bit far from princess st but nice change to see another part of edinburgh.plenty shops, bars and restuarants,and for the ladys, great cheap designer shop called trouve nearby!second hand and great bargains ,2mins walk from hotel,breakfast lovely and good atmosphere and lovely staff.
