We lived on the upper floor, the room was fine. Nice beds, shower in the room but no towels, no tv, no lockers, really great kitchen. There can be some problems with a key-card (it didn't work when another person checked in our room), but it's easy to restore them on reception. More

I took a group of 16 up split between two dorms for the Edinburgh comedy festival. Most of the staff are European but made an effort to serve us quickly and assist us. Bunk beds were adequate and toilet/shower basic but fine. In all honesty this was fine for cheap digs - don't expect 5 star, but it's fine. More

the bedding was clean, and I did see an attempt at mopping the bathroom. But they ended up switching me into another room without informing me first. went from a female dorm to a mixed dorm. toilet seat was broken, locker was broken, and it smelled awful. A group of us went for a one night stay and upon arrival the beds weren't ready for us and some of the beds we were allocated looked like they were still being slept in.
