A good small B&B, clean and tidy, and with all B&B compared to hotels, sometimes a bit worn around the edges e.g.the odd worn carpet and mold, but generally not disappointing. Recomended despite the honest review above. Watch rooms 2 & 3, smaller and not very instulated. We had a snorer next door all night !!! Can't comment on insulation... More

Great location, free car parking and bus stop just outside to take you into city centre in about 10 mins (long due to tram works and diversions) Very comfortable nice rooms and a good size, with a nice range of toiletries supplied. Far better than some of the larger hotels I have stayed at in the city centre, and greater... More

Stayed here for one night in Feb as a couple. Checked in quickly and the man behind the desk was so friendly, took our bags upstairs and was happy to help with directions and tips. Bus stop right outside takes you straight into town, or just a 10min walk. Room was big and very clean. Breakfast the next day was... More

Thanks to Andy for his friendly welcome and his hospitality shown to us on our stay .We thought our room was very nice and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast cooked to perfection in a lovely breakfast room.We were fortunate to be able to leave our car at the Hotel whilst we caught the local bus into Edinburgh City... More

This hotel has a great location and has been kept up well. We agreed on spending about 2-3 weeks in this hotel but on the very first eve we moved out looking at how rude and money-minded the owner was. Sad for such a hotel to go waste in the hands of this owner. More

This looks like an ordinary small hotel on the outside, but inside is anything but ordinary. It used to be part of the church next door and it sitll has some of the stained glass windows. The decor is luxurious and obviously a lot of thought has gone into it. It is also quiet and the owner/operator is very friendly... More
