Excellent value for money and so near the centre of Edinburgh. Bus stops almost at the door. Private car park. Clean and welcoming. Good continental breakfast, plenty choice, eat as much as you like. Wi-fi if you want it, I didn't, I was on a short break. Would certainly use this hotel again.

this is a nice hotel to stay in Edinburgh. It has free parking , close to a bus stop that takes you to town, breakfast was decent, rooms are clean and comfy. A little old but has character. Staff were very friendly and helped us in getting around. If you have reasonable expectations you will enjoy your stay

Stayed two nights. Frederick on reception was very friendly and helpful but double room we had was dark and dingy. Bathroom door didn't shut so a lack of privacy.Had to ask for fresh towels.
