Stayed for two nights in May. Friendly, helpful staff and a great location near the Royal Mile. The room was quiet and clean and we would stay again when returning to Edinburgh. The restaurants on either side of the hotel were great options for a quick bite to eat.

Stayed for 2 nights in April. My room was simply furnished and clean. It was at the back of the hotel, very quiet. Very good buffet breakfast, within walking distance to everything. The real star was the staff - friendly & efficient. I recommend, when visiting downtown Edinburgh.

The hotel's a pretty solid bet if you're looking for something by the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. Rooms are a tad bit on the small side, but they're neat. Staff were super friendly and very attentive. I'd definitely go back to the Ibis.

At th reception desk they tried to resolve quickly our little problems such as when magnetic door keys didn't work,when we needed towels...When we asked food or drink from the bar ,they helped us as soon as possible. Nice room and perfect location in the city centre of Edinburgh. Unfortunately the lift to the rooms had a very nasty smell. No free Internet access! Check-In and Check-Out was very fast and uncomplicated.

With simple, clean rooms and friendly helpful service from the reception staff, this hotel is an ideal central base for exploring the city. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Good accessibility for disabled occupants. Be willing to climb the stairs if staying on third floor! Recommended.
