Glenora Hotel is ok for an overnight, but not to be recommended for a longer stay, albeit very convenient for day touring. Staff at the hotel itself are very friendly, which is more than can be said for the staff at their call centre, who sway between nonchalant and rude. Four flights of stairs to a small, claustrophobic bedroom and... More

When we booked a room for 3 people we didn't expect to get a room with 1 double bed and 3 single beds all nicely laid out. Everyone was so happy after the cramped London hotel. We had really good sleep there. This room is underground so we got a half view of the back garden (nothing much to see... More

Oh those beds! I slept so well in those soft mattresses, I was sad to leave after only one night. The place is perfectly located next to Heymarket station. The staff was very kind and friendly and very helpful when we told them that we would arrive late in the night. Breakfast had a large selection of everything one could... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Glenora; I wanted a place that was easy access to the Old Town and we had Britrail passes so it seemed a good choice (similar priced hotels closer in were booked) it is just around the corner from Haymarket rail station and also the drop off for the airport bus. The hotel is nice,... More

The hotel is well located to explore edinburgh. Stayed here on a business trip but would also use if visiting edinburgh again. The room was small but well decorated and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were good and food was delicious. Would highly recommed staying here.

We had a very pleasant stay at this little guest house right next to the bus und train station Haymarket. It is a clean and well kept quiet place. The room contains everything you need, including TV, hairdrier and a kettle so you can make your own tea.

Managed to book this place on LateRooms for £35 and was very impressed with the price. Room was very spacious and the bathroom facilities were nice enough for an overnight stay. I would say that the matteress was too soft, I kept sinking into it which meant my back was sore in the morning and my girlfriend complained of a... More

Me and my partner recently stayed in this guest house for one night. The staff were nice and friendly, our room was on the top floor if i could change one thing it would be to have booked a ground floor room as i am pregnant and three flights of stairs was difficult. The room was compact especially the bathroom... More

Great hotel and great service. The room I was given(single room on top floor) was spacious enough and clean, however heating was not working. After complaining twice and staff being unable to fix it,got moved to a family room as all other rooms were full. Was really impressed by how fast they responded and how friendly the staff were.Would most definitely recommend.

I was delighted by the fact this guest house was located near the train station and the bus stop. I left my car at the airport and it was so awesome to be able to take a bus close to the Glenora and the train station was across the street. It made my trip to Edinburgh easy and enjoyable. It...
