Our double room was small, but very comfortable, clean and attractive. The welcome from the receptionist was warm and welcoming, and this was a feature from all the staff in the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, and it was great to have food cooked to order rather than a buffet of hot food. We were most impressed. It is in a... More

This hotel is simply devine. The rooms are spacious and beautifully presented. A must try is the Bonham hot chocolate overlooking the view of Edinburgh. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they even helped us to book a trip to the zoo to see Tian Tian and Yang Guang. A hearty breakfast is the perfect start to... More

The B is a big shouldered boutique hotel , decorated in right-on contemporary style which may tire in a few years. My 3rd floor room afforded good views of a quiet street, and apart from a few cracked tiles in the bathroom, was faultless. The top corridor is full of fire doors which look exactly like every other door, and... More

Simply stunning. Yes, it is a fair walk from The Royal Mile - but on every return leg you are rewarded with luxurious splendour and comfort. Our room was spectacular; the bathroom immaculate. The service was professional and the breakfast the perfect start to each day. Use the walk to work up an appetite for a Bonham Hot Chocolate -... More

Didn't stay but enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea here with family last weekend. Got our own private room, service was fantastic and the cocktails, tea, cakes and sandwiches were just yummy. Happily catered for dietary requirements e.g nut free, gluten free. One small tip re the latter, sandwiches would be much better if made with genius gluten free bread, it... More

My Girlfiend took me on a magical mystery tour for my birthday and she chose the Bonham as the final destination. We had eaten at the hotel before and the food was fantastic but we had never actually stayed there. We had a fantastic time and the food and the room were both great. The meal was 3 courses and... We really loved our stay at the Bonham. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The room we stayed in was lovely and had a great view. Although it was next to the elevator, which made it a little noisy. The car park is great and is the restaurant and food is so lovely. Can't wait to come... More

We booked the Friday fun special at The Bonham, which seemed very reasonable. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area, yet only 5 mins walk from princess Street. The blurb told us that we would have a 'standard room' - well I certainly wasn't expecting a huge room, with separate walk-in wardrobe, seating area and a gorgeous big... More
