Really nice warm hospitality in a beautiful New Town row house. The breakfast was fantastic and enough to cover 2 meals. Comfortable bed and great shower! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We chose 20 Albany for our two night stay in Edinburgh because of glowing Trip Advisor reviews and the availability of parking. The B&B proved to be deserving of the reviews. We stayed in the James Craig suite, which is on the top floor at the front of the house. The room was huge and beautifully decorated. Even though the...

My wife and I stayed at 20 Albany for 8 nights in Edinburgh and could not have had a better experience. Denise is a warm and friendly host who pays great attention to every detail to make her B&B the most comfortable and inviting place we could imagine. Our room, the Robert Adam Suite was huge as was the bed...

This establishment is well located, near the bus terminal.
Gloria provided wonderful hospitality and Denise is most helpful. The property is well kept and the morning breakfast is fully satisfying. Most important, you are treated as a most welcome guest.

I must admit, everything that everyone else has written about 20 Albany Street is true. It is stellar, it is fantastic, it is comfortable, it is lovely, it is a true gem. Ah but the real gem behind it all is Denise! Based on the reviews I read, which were quite instrumental in our choice to stay here, I envisioned...

We stayed at this "lovely" bed and breakfast in Edinburgh for 3 nights in April and were greeted at the door by a great hostess, Denise. The room was even better than advertised. Denise helped us with all of our questions and helped book some other events and tours. The dram of Scotch was very inviting and piece of the...

There isn't much to say without repeating many of the other posts; only to say that our experience matched the general consensus.
I think the most important thing is that every detail is thought about to your convenience. There are lots of small touches, nice gestures, choices which all take the service a little more "above and beyond". Here, the...

We spent three nights at Denise Walker's fabulous home the first of April, along with our adult niece. Although we are generally tough reviewers, we find ourselves without ample superlatives to describe the accommodations, the service, the breakfast, the assistance, the attentions to detail, and Denise herself. The Adams and Craig Suites, the Sitting Room, and the breakfasts are as...

Having stayed at 20 Albany Street as a couple last summer, we decided to return with two teenagers for an Easter break. As we occupied both rooms, we actually had the place to ourselves, which made it seem even more of a home from home. Denise was every bit as helpful as last time, making our restaurant bookings for us...

We stayed 2 x nights at 20 Albany Street last week and wished we'd booked for longer! It's a fantastic part of the city (really close to the centre, but seemingly undisturbed and off the well-beaten tourist track). We'd read about the afternoon tea, and were not disappointed - particularly delicious home-made cake! The Robert Adams suite was enormous and...
