My sister and I have been lucky enough to get to stay with David and his wife 3 separate times. This is by far our FAVORITE B&B in the UK. We are so fortunate that we get to go for a forth time this July. Rooms are a good size and every thing is super clean. They make you feel... More

We stayed here for three nights in late July. The room was nicely sized for three (me, my wife and daughter) but we were fine with the spiral stairs which might be an issue for some. David was an excellent host and the breakfasts were great. On a later pass through Edinburgh we stayed in a modern hotel in New... More

My partner and I arrived a little later than stated but this caused no problem to David, who with his wife were perfect hosts from the beginning to the end of our trip. The room was immaculate and very spacious and the bed so comfortable. Breakfast was remarkable possibly the best we have had on our many weekends away. In short... More

Only stayed one night but wished we had booked for two. This Guest House is well run by David and his wife who are a lovely couple and they deserve their four star rating. The house is Victorian and has all the Scottish features from that period including a pitch pine staircase and decorative plaster on the walls. Our twin... More

Our room was large and very comfortable.(three beds for only two people). The king bed was very comfortable. The breakfast room was beautiful. The breakfast was served quickly and was delicious. It was convenient to downtown bus routes. An excellent choice in Edinburgh More

We stayed 3 nights in Edinburgh and enjoyed a relaxing stay at Dunedin. The room we had was cramped but complete and clean. The king bed was comfy. Internet access was spotty at best, we had to reset the router a couple of times to get anywhere. Bus stops were very convenient to the B&B and quickly got us to... More

David and his wife were most hospitable. Our room was so tastefully done and immaculate. It was nice and quiet in this lovely neighbourhood. David was extremely organized and gave us such good advice for eating eating out and site seeing. The pub near their home was so good we ate there twice. The breakfast provided and the B&B was... The Dunedin B&B is well worth visit. The owners have kept some original features of this period building and is very clean and tidy. The rooms very comfortable and breakfast delicious and filling. Only 20 minute walk to the Castle. Parking a bit of an isssue if you get there too early. Well worth a visit. More

Pros - clean, a bit cheaper than most B&Bs Cons - location not the greatest, David does not hold your luggage which means £7 each bag at the train station to hold (huge ripoff). Breakfast was nothing special. Room was a bit small. David charges 2% extra at the end for some conversion fee even if using a UK CC... More
