I travelled to Edinburgh for the first time last Nov with my 11 year old daughter. I must admit I was a bit bemused when I first got there by the decor and I did wonder what was going on there BUT at no time was this obvious and we were completely unaffected by parties or anything else which other... My husband and i spent our honeymoon here, and after reading previous reviews after booking were quite concerned!!! Wow what a fab place, friendly, clean, and fantastic location. We have had a great time, and made even better by such a wonderful base to stay at. No matter how late in the day we went out we always came back... More

Wasn't sure about this place due to other comments, however all I can say is this place is set to be a hidden gem in Edinburgh! The rooms are lovely - not ideal if you have mobility problems but the lovely owner, Stuart, took my cases up to my room which was so nice of him! Flat screen TVs, comfy... More

Arrived at hotel to find 2 females enroute to bedroom having met in bar . It was a Saturday night mind you................... Checked in and went to bar to get set upon by transvestite , gays and lesbians. Having no issue with gender or sexuality some of these people have clearly issues within. Remarks made were vile and in bad... More

The staff were really nice when we arrived although we didnt see them much again over the whole weekend. They could be contacted by telephone if needed though. The room was nice, the carpet looked new. There were a couple of things that let this hotel down, some of the lights in the room were not working as bulbs hadnt... More

Very disappointed with the level of service and facilities at the hotel. Definitely not a 'luxury hotel' as we were led to believe. Expensive, terrible breakfast, poor standard of room - many things broken eg, toilet flushing mechanism, bedside light, or not available eg hairdryer. No reception - answering machine, asked for towels as only one large and one small... More

well located near the center of the city, the hotel consist in four stylish en-suite rooms in the upper floors (very up) of a gay pub and disco. There is not any hotel service except the cleaning of the room and no parking near the hotel. The breakfast is selfmade, available only in your room...made by yourself. Tea and coffee... More
