Stayed at the Hedges Guesthouse in early June. Stayed here with a friend, in Room 3 in the back of the house, set up as a twin. Very quiet and yet only 5 minutes walk into city center. Great breakfast also. Heather, the owner was a most helpful and lovely woman. I highly recommend this B&B.

A haven just a 10 minute walk from the railway station. Lovely room, comfortable bed, fabulous breakfast. Heather, who owns and runs The Hedges, was the perfect hostess! Will definitely return there on my next visit. As an aside, if you are mad enough to run a marathon, it is perfectly located for the start of The Edinburgh Marathon.
