Rosebery is a lovely historic Scottish house and the B&B rooms are on the third floor - so be prepared for a climb. We had the family room which was tastefully decorated and had lots of space for us to spread out. It had a wee sitting area, which was great, and there was a bookshelf in the hallway which... More

Fantastic B&B, lovely warm welcome on arrival. * B&B rooms are accessed via a separate front door entrance (up a few flights of stairs - so be warned if you have a lot of luggage or old knees!). But these are lit at night for anyone returning in the darkness - very handy! * Room was clean, bright, spacious and... More

My wife, daughter and I stayed at Rosebery House to break up a long drive during our 18-day road trip through England, Scotland and Wales. The house dates from Victorian times and has 3 storeys, so it stands above other houses in the area. It is located on the edge of the small town, a short drive from the town... More

The lady of the house was not home and though Andrew tried hard I have had a better breakfast. I also realised that the mattress cover had a plastic under lining....ugh I am not incontinent. We stayed here at the end of June 2011 for two nights. 4 adults in 2 rooms. The rooms were clean and spacious, with nice modern bathrooms in each of our rooms with showers, and nice big beds. We were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, lots of variety, and Jan even provided some haggis on our final morning to ensure... More

We have stayed twice in the bed & breakfast and once in the luxurious self catering apartment. The accommodation is excellent, spacious, comfortable and for those staying B&B, topped off with an excellent breakfast! Nothing is too much trouble and we love staying there. Moffat is surrounded by hills, excellent for walkers. Highly recommended. Can't wait to go back!
