Situated behind a closed dilapidated little chef on the main A75 road into dumfries its easy to find and plenty of parking.The rooms are the same as the rest of the chains, if not a little more tired. Stayed overnight prior to Christmas 2012. As always, clean, reasonably comfortable room, typical of the chain. Cheerful & friendly reception staff. Unfortunately the adjacent Little Chef has closed and is boarded up leaving a some what desolate feeling to the site. For the price cannot be beaten.

Typical budget hotel ... rooms were relatively clean and basic ... ok for a one night stay but wouldn't want to stay any longer. On the plus side, prices are excellent so I suppose it balances out because it is excellent value for money, and only 10 minutes away from Town Centre.

Booked in december with Travel lodge offer. Nice welcome on arrival ,room fine and good size,staff helpful with advice on dining , good sleep as nice and quet even though car park full -fortunatly nice honest residents who noticed i had left my handbag outside the room and knocked on our door to inform us phew !!!!!!!

Quit moaning, it's budget accommodation. It was clean, quiet, basic, friendly, cheap. We slept like logs.. What more can you ask for. Well recommended for a no frills stay. You get what you pay for & we got far more. Well done again travelodge.
