The room was immaculate and the location very peaceful with a comfy bed for a good nights sleep. The cooked breakfast was fresh and quality (eaten whilst you look out at the waterfall in the back garden with a variety of birds visiting the feeders). Not just a big plate of greasy fried food that leaves you feeling uncomfortable as... More

The owners share a terraced block in a secluded valley but own about 2 acres of land leading onto Selkirk Hill. The A7 is within sight but the whole B&B is very peaceful. We had a lovely large room, big bathroom with a lovely lovely bath and a large downstairs lounge to use. On arrival we were treated to tea/coffee... More

This B&B was the second on our week's 65 mile walk on the Borders Abbeys Way - we had walked from Hawick and arrived in Selkirk mid-afternoon with the sun shining and aching limbs. We were welcomed with a tray of tea and shortbread and sat in the peaceful back garden listening to the birdsong and trickling stream - so... More

I had the pleasure to spend several times in the last years in this wonderful B&B. And I really recommend it very high. The house is quite old but from the look from outside you would never expect this spacious and lovely renovated inside. The rooms are very spacious too, very comfy and you feel like home from the first... More

My business partner and I and our 2 wives thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the croft. With us occupying the 2 guest rooms we had the run of the place, including the guest sitting/dining room. On arrival we were greeted by Jean with tea and biscuits before being shown to our comfortable, en suite rooms. The croft is... More

The croft is in a lovely location, being just outside Selkirk. Through miss-planning by ourselves, we where forced to bring our cat (Piers). However, this was not a problem for Jean and we were very thankful. The couple treated us more like friends than lodgers, and we enjoyed a few long conversations with them. All in all, the Croft was... More
