Stayed for one night enroute to the ferry from Oban. Nice hotel overlooking Dunstaffage Marina and Castle. Friendly service from reception to bar and restaurant service. Rooms scrupulously clean and modern. Restaurant served an excellent value for money meal and breakfast.

Stayed 2 nights in super room with balcony overlooking marina and Dunstaffnage Bay, whilst working on my boat. Lovely, big cosy bed and plenty of room in the well kept en-suite, fitted with comfortable seating and table. Very good dinner and Scottish breakfast in the restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff. Look forward to staying again with my wife.

We stayed here for 2 nights and were surprised the accommodation is in cabins to the side of the restaurant. The cabins also look onto the gravel car park and were a stones throw from the A 85. Rooms not in main building. Could be very wet going for breakfast. Views very nice. Bedroom had smallest TV I have every seen would have been better with our laptop but WFI only available in pub.Needed binoculars to see TV menu in bed. Oban is so busy that this is a convenient place to stay. Rooms were comfortable but cold - asked for heating to be resolved but staff were unable or unwilling to do so. Food was excellent - the highlight of our stay really. This place could've been so much better but for a few minor details!

We stayed at the WMF twice in between visiting the islands. Our first room had a good view over the marina but broken tiles on the bathroom floor which lifted up as you walked on them, the second room was more spacious but one sheet on a tired mattress that you can feel the springs through is not satisfactory, neither...
