Dissapointing- all the food seemed bought in, frozen and re-heated and there was very little fresh scottish fare. Saving graces are the price and the staff-who are friendly and try hard. The place is in a magnificent setting and hopefully the food will improve with time. More

The Ugadale Hotel has recently re opened after a complete renovation. Have eaten here twice - staff are lovely, friendly and helpful, keen to sort out glitches. Food has been variable I have to say - some dishes to our group both times have been excellent and others not. Hopefully as the new people in the kitchen settle in it will all become consistently good. More
