I made a block booking at this hotel a couple of years ago for a family party, we had about 20 guests staying in total. Each guest was charged for 2 nights on their credit card although they were (thankfully) only booked in for the one. This resulted in everyone having to fight to get their money back, some from... It is really hard to put into words just how bad this place is. Suffice it to say that you should read the other reviews and they really speak the truth. The rooms are dirty and in a seemingly constant loop of repairs which sees exposed cables, no hot water, frayed carpets, etc. No idea what the staff would be... More

We stayed for a night in April 2012 and had booked on Booking.com. The area was heavily booked so there wasn't much choice available but the description seemed ok. The only member of staff we met was the manager who seemed to be doing everything himself. We had planned to eat dinner there as we arrived late but luckily for... More

In preparation for a busy weekend in Fort William on 8th June, I booked this hotel two months before. We turned up and there was a notice on the door, saying that it was closed until 26th July! All the locals we subsequently told about this were not at all surprised and had many tales to tell about goings on... More

The Scottish Tourist Board should not even have this hotel on their books. They are crooks and just take your money. We went there a couple of years ago and stupidly paid our bill & dinner before checking the room. We went to check out and they said they could not credit our card until the following week. We were... More

This hotel should be avoided at all costs unless you would enjoy parting with money for a seriously unpleasant experience. Tiny room,no draught beer(IN SCOTLAND),no hot water in the morning ,no chef for evening meal (possibly a good thing when you read other reviewers on the food)and poorly trained staff. My impression was a hotel not yet ready for taking... More

Unfortunately, this is no joke. The staff simply have no idea what they are doing. The food was shocking, simply appalling, rooms poor quality, and service non-existent. Worst was that THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS DANGEROUS!!!! I took my 7 and 11 year old kids. We were given a family room with bunk-beds. The upper bunk DID NOT HAVE A SAFETY RAIL.... More

Booked via their website for a room after checking their availability online. Booking was accepted automatically and confirmed. Two days prior to departure, after returning home early from a business trip elsewhere, I discover a voicemail message left by someone called 'Shamsul' saying they weren't accepting bookings as they were redecorating and didn't want complaints about the smell. Firstly, it... More

I booked this hotel for 2 of our engineers who were on business, i was in a rush to get them somewhere booked for that same day and though that this hotel looked good - referring to there website. The gentleman had to be up early the next day and upon speaking with the manager Shamsul he informed me that... More
