this was my 3rd visit to Greenbrae but the first with the new owners. I was not disappointed. Guests rooms have been upgraded and tastefully decorated, Beverly & Alan were extremely good hosts - and the breakfasts were excellent. Highly recommend. More

Beverly and Alan took great care of us while were at Greenbrae. They have recently bought the property, and have kept up the good service and comfort that I read in the reviews of the previous owners. As Alan and Beverly have only been operating the B&B over the past few months, they are currently putting work into the outside... More

We were greeted by Jill and Mike, and we had there undivded attention until the moment we left, nothing was too much trouble for them. The bedrooms were large, and the bed was comfortable. Everywhere was spotless, and Mikes breakfasts were delicious, try his real porridge,it's got the wow factor.! You will not be disappointed. Gail & Terry DERBYSHIRE More

Mike and Jill were lovely hosts. Sadly they are selling.. Mike, Jill and the cats made us feel very welcome. The ducks were aloof. The little touches such as the personalised breakfast menus were delightful. Mike even found a book of local history from his library which my wife devoured as she was researching both her and my family histories... More

No hesitation in recommending this B&B. Very welcoming with personal touches to surprise you. Mike and Jill went out of their way to make a nostalgic trip back to the north east really special for us. More

We spent two days in Greenbraes for a family funeral, we were given a great welcome and made to feel at home, we felt relaxed and the breakfasts were out of this world, with so many choices, thank you Jill and Mike for making us feel so welcome. The personal touch was the breakfast menu's they had our individual names... More
