Second stay last night (first was in September 2011). Stunning place/ a real home from home. I knew the breakfast would be superb but the evening meal excelled. Fig and Parma Ham Salad followed by perfectly cooked Halibut/Langoustine on a bed of noodles and Tunisian Orange Cake to finish. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I have been working in Aberdeen for 2/3 days per week since 2003 and this is without a doubt the best place I have found to stay. Fantastic House, with a lovely guest lounge. The Bedrooms are perfect and have great showers. The owners strike just the right balance of being friendly and welcoming but giving you privacy. I would... More

I stayed at this guest house last night and it was fabulous. The property itself is lovely and the interior is stunning. The owners, James and Shona, were very friendly and welcoming and made me feel at home straight away. Off the beaten track but only about 6 miles into Aberdeen centre is ideal. Can't stress enough how great this... More

This remodeled, modern farmhouse is a gem!! James is an amiable, down-to-earth nice guy you will enjoy meeting and sharing a whiskey with. Our room was spacious, bright and had a wonderful view, including the North Sea. The food was top notch. Breakfast was cooked to order and if requested, James provides a great dinner. We would definitely go back!!

In over 4 weeks of touring Great Britain this was the best accomodation by far. Met at the door by our host James and made to feel at home. A local restaurant had been tentativley booked in case we felt like dining out, yes please. Breakfast of smoked fish and poached egg was to die for. Rooms are cosy and... More
