Hugh and Kathleen were at the door on arrival, tea and homemade mince pies. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble, considering it was New Year's Eve and going to a wedding and no idea how to get there, Hugh got maps out, made everything so easy. Next day going to the south, even helping with... More

Even though it was May 2011 when we went to Tattykeel, it's still one of the highlights of Northern Ireland for us! We were recommended this B&B by others who'd been there or we might not have found it. Hugh and Kathleen have a hospitality gene and they're absolute naturals. Beautiful house, lovely room, yummy breakfast, delightful company, great local... More

We are so happy to have found Tattykeel House! Hugh and Kathleen prove that Irish hospitality is as warm north of the border as it is in the Republic. We were welcomed into their beautiful house and made to feel at ease and at home with tea and wonderful talk. Our room and shower were immaculate. We slept better than... More

We have just come back from a visit to Ulster Folk Park in Omagh for the Bluegrass and Appalachian Festival and stayed in Tattykeel House again, we have stayed there each time we have visited Omagh for the past 5 years. One of the many reasons we keep coming back is because we enjoy the fantastic hospitality and friendliness of... More

Hugh and Kathleen provided tea and cake and friendly conversation immediately upon our arrival! Tattykeel House is a top-notch B&B in every way, from the decor to the food to the assistance of the hosts. The attention to small details, from the linens to the personalized breakfast to the peaceful landscaping, make this a very special place. Our family group... More

It has been a year since we visited Ireland and since that time whenever I think about our wonderful trip, one of the fondest memories that I have is of the time we spent with Kathleen and Hugh in Omagh. Their B and B is more like being welcomed home that a commercial establishment. Kathleen and Hugh have a beautiful... More

Tattykeel House is set amidst lovely award winning gardens., not far from Omagh. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean, as are the bathrooms. The breakfast can be as simple as a roll and coffee or can be a full Ulster fry - cold dishes plus eggs, meat, tomatoes, mushrooms. Your choice! We were pleasantly surprised by our... More

We very much enjoyed the great hospitality provided by Kathleen and Hugh at Tattykeel who made us very welcome on our arrival. The house, although near a main road was extremely quiet, and situated in a beautiful garden. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and we had nice bathroom facilities.

My boyfriend and I spent one night at the Tattykeel House while traveling in Northern Ireland. We were greeted by the adorable, friendly couple who own the house, and were quickly shown to our room and offered tea and snacks. The house was warm, clean, comfortable, and only a mile or so away from downtown Omagh, which has plenty to... More

Thanks to an astute waitress in Omagh who overheard our conversation about a B&B for the night ,we were guided to this wonderful home run by Kathleen and Hugh Ward. Just a 3 minute drive onto A5 Dublin Road and you see this immacuate and well manicured home on your right after passing Omagh Meat Plant. A striking 2 storied... More
