I can highly recommend The Wellington Park hotel as a function venue. I have had the privilege to attend church in their facilities every Sunday the past year and it was a pleasure to walk into clean function rooms every week. Stayed at the Wellington Park as I was attending a wedding. First impressions didn't have me saying "wow", more like mmmm this place looks a bit the worse for wear. Carpets and decor really need upgrading. Food was excellent at the wedding as was breakfast the next day. Service wasn't bad and servers were quite helpful.

Good enough stay could be quite dated in parts but reception staff etc very friendly and helpful especially when I was still drunk checking out and kept misplacing keys phones etc etc lol handy enough to town centre
