Very comfortable and clean with excellent breakfast choices and wonderfully friendly service. You can walk to the city--to the City Hall, the Opera House, and if you want to see a neighborhood with murals, Sandy Row is also nearby and almost on the way to those places. The train station is very close, and trains go to a lot of... more

Tara Lodge is a great place to stay. It’s in the Botanic area of Belfast and it’s about a 10 minute walk is the botanic garden and Ulster Museum which recently won an award and is worth seeing. All around are good cafes and restaurants. When we arrived the guy on reception couldn’t have been more helpful and gave us... more

I stayed in the Tara lodge with my daughter for one night and i have to say it is one of the nicest places i have stayed in. The rooms are gorgeous, spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds and well equipped with everything you need for your stay. The breakfast was excellent too with a great variety of food to suit... more

The service and amenities were fine, the room extraordinarily attractive and comfortable. In a lovely location on a quiet street near Queens College, a lively shopping street, a train and a bus stop and the Botanical Gardens. However, the visit for me was ruined by their "filtering" of my wifi access to the Internet. This blocked my use of perfectly... more

All the other reviews have it right - well located in university, Botanic area of city, about 10 mins walk from the centre. Close to lots of restaurants. Well served by many bus routes. The hotel is clean, efficiently run with terrific staff who were very knowledgeable about the city, the attractions and restaurants. Thanks for the recommendations! The breakfasts... more

Ideally situated in Belfast, Tara Lodge is a high quality hotel offering all the facilities you need. The rooms are impeccable, spacious and tastefully decorated. The staff is helpful and rather kind. We appreciated the variety of choice for breakfast which was excellent and served with efficiency. All in all, it's an address to remember and to recommend to anyone... more

Absolutely beautiful decor in bedrooms, thick carpet, incredibly comfy bed and pillows, super shower, steam iron, safe, hairdryer, flat screen freeview telly, Everything throughout was spotlessly clean. What more could you want? Oh yes, delicious breakfast, they even toasted my wheaten bread for me! Really helpful, delightful staff too. Just a little point, although I am not a fan of... more

We stayed at room 20 for five days with my wife and everything was excellent, considering the price. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had in a small hotel and the personel was very friendly. We would certainly come back if we revesit Belfast. more
