We stayed at the Tara Lodge for two nights while visiting Belfast. We loved the location. The rooms were large, tidy and very comfortable. We really love how helpful the staff (especially Ricky) were. I would highly recommend staying.

After Dublin we went up to Belfast and we choose the TARA Lodge for our stay. That was a really good choice! The location is nice and you can find restaurant and bars in the area. You can walk to city centre within 20 minutes. The recpetion staff is very friendly and helpfull. They organized flowers for my wife. Everything... More

A super 4 star Bed & Breakfast.Apart from breakfast this hotel does no other meals which is a great pity. The breakfast is of a very high standard, and you can imagine starting the day with a plate of porridge and a nip of whiskey. The area in which the hotel is situated is very run down with lots o... Tara Lodge has a boutique feel to it. Lots of charm was oacked into our room which was located in an annex building . The decor was beautifully done and beds very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small, but we would trade that minor negative for everything else this property offered. Parking is available ( first come, first served)... More

Stayed here for one night in February. Chosen purely based on the reviews on tripadvisor so was pleased to get a really good deal direct on the hotel's website. We arrived around 11am and were able to check our bags until later. About a 20 min walk to City Hall. The area surrounding the hotel does look a little rundown... More

A unique find in Belfast located in a busy and eclectic student/university area of Belfast. The Lodge is impeccable in cleanliness and has a very "new" feel. The rooms, public areas and shower/bath facilities are simply spotless. The staff are extraordinarily friendly and helpful and a major benefit that cannot be underestimated is the secure (locked after 11:00pm) off street... More

Comfortable room, king size bed, bath tub great for soaking after we cycled here. Location is convenient to many restaurants. Great breakfast, too. We walked to central Belfast & to Botanic Gardens easily from the hotel.

We stayed two separate nights while doing a driving tour of Northern Ireland. The hotel staff were very accommodating and the breakfast was delicious. They use a pack-n-play as the baby cot and our 2 year old enjoyed sleeping in it. Free parking (though limited spaces available) and wifi were nice too.

I chose Tara Lodge because we were driving to Belfast, so I needed to secure a parking place. I reviewed comments before, checked prices..everything matched my plans. When I arrived..it was better than showed on the website! The room was very comfortable (great bed), perfectly cleaned, brand new bathroom. The staff is simply outstanding, luxury hotel style, they are nice... More

We have just returned from a short break at the Tara Lodge and i have to say what a plesant experience it was. This small hotel is situated a short walk from the city center in a student/bedsit area of town, the streets in this area look somewhat shabby and run down and like other reviwers have said this was...
