We arrived late. Was treated very well. rooms excellent. facilities better than some of the more expensive hotels I have been stayed all over the world. The house was beautiful relaxing. I would stay in this hotel for a week and not leave to go outside. . This is how much My Husband and daughter and I liked it. breakfast... More

I thought it time that I wrote a review for the Windsor Lodge Hotel Swansea. I have been staying there for 2 nights at a time for the last 2 years, nearly every month. The place is very comfortable with television and provision for making tea or coffee in the room. The breakfast is excellent and you have a great... More

Back again at the WIndsor Lodge last weekend while visiting my son at SMU. It is somewhat old world in atmosphere but very nice and comfortable. Service is pleasant and efficient. Lovely breakfast. Excellent value for money.

I spent a couple of nights there and I am torn between the hotel's obvious old-British charm and its equally obvious disrepair. While the public rooms seem nice, updated and cosy, my room really needed some upgrading and the orange sodium light that shone right into my room (illuminating, on the outside, the general area of the hotel sign) was... I had to book a room in Swansea at short notice and found that a lot of the rooms which were affordable and available online looked really dodgy. However, this place was really cosy and inviting. My single room was very comfortable, quiet and warm. It was an interesting shape. The breakfast was really good - a tasty full English,... More

The hotel is close to where my son is studying, so it is convenient to SMU and the prices are low. The good features were: staff very friendly, good breakfast, good value, clean, no noise. It is a bit dated and slightly rambling. Climbing two flights of stairs and no wifi were other slight negatives. Overall I thought it was... More

I booked a single room at Windsor Lodge, and wasn't sure what to expect. The room was perfectly adequate for one night, the bed very comfortable and it was all really clean. The ensuite was small, but fine for one person. I had tea and coffee making facilities, a TV and a comfortable chair. Breakfast was really nice. Very good... More

I took my Mum away for a long weekend to this place and was quite dissapointed with it overall. I did find the staff very friendly, but that was washed away when on day one, we were in the breakfast room for 25 minutes before anyone realised we were there and day two I went to Macdonalds as again no-one... Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at Windsor Lodge Hotel in Swansea, but it was the combination of staff friendliness, helpfulness and skill that more than offset what I would consider a 2-star property. First, the front desk clerk was very friendly upon check in. She took me up to my room, and as she was showing me around... More

We have just returned from this lovely family-run hotel and were bowled over by how considerate the staff were. The hotel is just a short walk into town and close to St Helen's Road and it's wide selection of reasonably-priced eateries. Parking in the hotel's car park was very convenient and Reception is just a few steps away. Breakfast was... More
