we stayed at this guest house for the weekend 25th may 2012. the rooms were clean and considering there was 13 of us the rooms were adaquately large enough for all of us.the atmosphere was friendly and we were all greeted with a warm welcome. we all had shower ensuites which were clean,it was really hot this weekend as well... More

“Cheap but not cheerful”

The family stayed for 2 nights in two rooms. There was too much noise for 2 of us in the front so found a quieter room the second night. On entering the place there were some bad smells but the rooms were relatively clean. The wash basin was about 25 cm so trying to wash or shave was nearly impossible.... More

I stayed at mayfair guest house at the begining of april with my mates, the rooms were very clean, the rooms were very big and decorated to a nice standered,lovely breakfast and nice hospitality, great location to the city. Many thanks we will be visiting again soon sarah

Just returned after spending two nights at this guest house and have to say that it is the worst place that I have ever stayed at. Our room was on the top floor and as we climbed the stairs to get to our room the smell of smoke became evident. Once inside our room, it absolutely stank of old smoke... More
