Clean and tidy place well placed for a weekends hiking. A double room in the building at the back of the main building was great, with breakfast included ready for the day ahead. The hotel is a short way from the centre of Betws y Coed itself but the pub in the hotel is friendly, serves great pub food, and... More

We has a great time here early in the year. The room was on an offer so I thought we would treat ourselves as we visited the area the same time last year. The room we had was lovely, bright and warm with a clean bathroom. Although on the main road, you can hear the constant waterfalls situated just over... More

Don't be fooled by the grand exterior of this impressive Victorian coaching inn. Inside is a budget hotel offering the very basics in comfort and service. Clean, functional and free wi-fi in the bar is a short list of positives. The 'hotel' is part of a complex which includes a campsite and a youth hostel, so expect to share the... More

Was a little disappointed that its not in the Centre of Betws y Coed but the village is only a 5 minute drive, and you are right opposite the falls which sounds lovely!. Our room was very clean, and we had a lovely 4 poster, bathroom adequate. Breakfast was ok, but I wouldnt personally chose to eat there purely based... More

A group of 14 stayed in the YHA accommodation for 2 nights as we were climbing Snowdon for 'Help the Heroes' Charity. It was really clean and the staff helpful. We ate both nights at the Hotel which was good value, the breakfast was good value also.

Stayed for a couple of nights in May and overall disappointed with our stay at this hotel, the website is quite misleading and unfortunately the hotel didn't live up to expectations. Twin room was in the annex outbuilding rather than staying in the main hotel which wasn't made clear on booking over the Internet. Room was clean but very basic.... More

Myself and my wife had a two night B&B stay at this hotel. Although I was familiar with the area, I had not stayed at this hotel before. I was pleasantly surprised by the location of the rooms, which are situated at the back of the main hotel building. This is a big plus, as it is all the more... More
