Mairlys provided us with the ideal short break. Our room was comfortable and spotless, the en-suite modern with a good shower (very important for us!) Hosts were friendly and knowledgable about the area; very helpful when we asked about suitable walks. The breakfast was delicious. We felt thoroughly relaxed after our stay.

So many to choose from in Betws but my friend and I felt we made the ideal choice, lovely situation, very friendly host and hostess, great rooms and en-suite showers and the breakfast delicious whether cooked or continental, plenty of choice. What more do you want??

Marilys Guest House is rated four-star, incorrectly in my opinion. Our room was so small we left one suitcase out in the hall until we went to bed so we would have room to move around. I had a lovely welcome to Mairlys guest house. It had a real home from home feeling. The room was extremely comfortable, and the choice of breakfast great. Mr Owen is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to both the local and wider area. Mrs Owens cooking is great. I highly recommend.
