Bryn Derwen is in a high elevated position, away from a quiet road. There are low steps and handrails from the bottom to the front door, my Dad is bad on his legs and managed this easily. We had room 2 over looking the front of the property and my parent’s room 1 overlooking the back. Room 2 was nicely... More

We stayed one night only at Bryn Derwen. Colin and his wife were very friendly and I believe it was Colin's father who waited on the tables at breakfast, he was very professional. Food was very good and the room, although on the second floor, was very well set up. the scaffolding was still there and Colin was still working... More

The guest house was disappointingly clothed in scaffolding and set on a very steep hill. The front parking area could only accommodate one car, and the rear parking area was accessed via a hazardous precipitous rough track. We were met by the owner on arrival, who was somewhat cold and distracted. We stayed for 2 days and never met his... More

Everything about the place was 5 star. from the welcome on arrival- the owner came down the path and helped us carry our luggage. the room was fabulous, for... More

We've just returned from a 2 night stay at Bryn Derwen. We were travelling with our 11 month old son and were given the family room in room 7 with a travel cot. Even with the cot, we had plenty of room. The room is tastefully decorated with a nice airy bathroom. We thought the room was very warm but... More

We received a friendly welcome from the owner and were shown to a front facing double room. This was well appointed with excellent bed linen and everything was clean. Breakfast was good although some quiet background music in the dinng room would have helped to make us and the other guests feel more at ease. With private parking and reasonably... More

We had a great stay at Bryn Derwen. Andrew and his family were so welcoming! The B&B is great, with yummy breakfast and a lovely front lawn, and is just a few minutes walk to the centre of Conwy or the castle or the sea. More

I stayed here with my teenage daughter for one night in October. Our room was clean, bright and spacious, Andrew and Gill were lovely, they let us leave our bag in the room as soon as we arrived, even though it was only 10.30am. Our breakfast was served efficiently, and was absoutely delicious, would definately stay again. More

My wife and I stayed four nights at the Bryn Derwen in May. The room was very comfortable and clean. The guest house sits back from the road so even with the windows open it was quiet. It is located an easy 10 minute walk from the castle. The breakfasts were delicious and the host family is delightful. We felt... More
