We have just held our daughters wedding here. Excellent location set in beautiful grounds. Cosy feel with lovely old restaurant. Beautiful building and grounds. The public areas are impressive in size but the furniture in the lounge was very scruffy. A fabulous 7 course taster menu which we thoroughly enjoyed. Very good, ambitious menu, expertly cooked using local produce. A very comfortable hotel set in beautiful grounds. Our room had a delightful view over the pond. We had a very peaceful night in an extremely comfortable bed. We were attending a reunion dinner and despite having to cater for a large group the food and service were excellent.
