After hearing good comments with regards to this restaurant and actually planned to visit the Fox Hunter was certainly not disappointed with either the food or service. Good ambience, lovely setting and excellent food. We dined at lunch time and the room was so relaxing and chilled it was a perfect choice. The staff were very friendly and attentive but... More

The Hardwick is just the sort of place you hope to find but rarely do. It you take the road from Raglan, you wind along a lovely country lane for quite a few miles until you stumble upon the Hardwick. The welcome is warm and friendly and the staff are accommodating. We stayed two nights in a lovely, beautifully appointed... More

My husband and I stayed at the hardwick for 1 night and we were impressed. The room was of a very high standard and was so comfortable. The shower was amazing! The staff were brilliant, as we were staying with a newborn they gladly agreed to getting our room ready as early as possible so we could get him settled.... More

I had read about this restaurant in the Mercedes magazine which recommended the food. My wife and I with some friends booked for an overnight stay and dinner. The rooms were contemporary and comfortable with some funky furniture. The food was outstanding and service friendly and helpful - even the chef Stephen Terry came out to say hello and asked... More

We had a fantastic stay at the Hardwick recently, it was a chance booking and could not have been better. The only comment I would make is the level and type of music played throughout the hotel, perhaps more visitors should request a lower level of output when playing, we found it hard to have a conversation. Calm, relaxed atmosphere, highly committed staff and food to delight everyone. Rooms have been created from a carefully thought out combination of traditional materials with modern technology. The emphasis is on the guest and no detail has been overlooked. The Hardwick is one of our favourite places to stay and eat. More

Stephen Terry is a wonderful chef and his staff make great hosts. We came to eat but were so glad to stay in the beautiful coolly decorated room. Fabulous bed, fluffy towels and bathrobe, beautiful toiletries, the best shower I have ever had- and that includes the Hotel du Vin ones. Reasonable honesty bar prices, good selection of teas, fresh... More
