Lovely B&B with ensuite rooms and shared use of a delightful room with TV/DVDs etc. This is also where the memorable breakfast is served. Warmly recommended.

I cannot believe the negative reviews of this lovely and sophisticated B&B.
It is in a beautiful setting, feeling very rural, despite being just a couple of minutes from the heart of the town of Abergavenny.
It is a sympathetically restored building, but with stylish, contemporary decor and furniture. Each room has wonderful attention to detail.
The breakfasts are to...

From the outside, this place looks new and inviting. On the inside, everything is modern and clean not the typical feeling of being in someone's house / B&B. The rooms - we had two - were modern and clean but the finishing touches were scanty. Plenty of biscuits, tea bags, chocolates etc in the room but we had to ask...

Second visit to Ty Llew on both occassions we were passing through on a motorbike trip.
Great rooms, very friendly and relaxed host, breakfast good, great value. Our two motorbikes were even given room in the locked garage.
Would have no hesitation in returning.

Comfortable rooms, great food, Superb views, unbeatable value and lovely hosts; If this isn't what a truly great B&B should be like then I don't know what is!
To quote one quite ridiculously defamatory review here "where do I start!". I called the landlady of the establishment after 9pm to ask if she had a room, absolutely no problem at...

A FANTASTIC B&B with great delious food more than I could eat. A business trip brought me to Abergavenny, a small town in South Wales. Not knowing this area I was pleased with the knowledge that the owner had of the area, they even drove me to my meeting and collected me later in the day. Although this was only...

I have previously stayed at Ty Llew and decided to return, I was not disappointed!
The rooms are clean, modern and good value for money. I have also stayed at the Angel which was a real let down, considering the price... The owner was just as welcoming this time as the last and remembered what I liked for breakfast. The...

I really don't know where to start... I was welcomed in and taken up to my uncomfortably tiny room (top floor furthest from the toilet!) within the first few sentences I was asked "oh can you pay now, so I can pay the cleaners tomorrow"!
As other reviews have mentioned it didnt feel like a B&B here was more like...

The Ty Llew Bed and Breakfast charged us twice for our accommodation. Our debit card was deducted for the cost of accommodation without our consent or knowledge before our arrival and on departure full cash payment for the lodging was requested. The host has since acknowledged that we were charged twice and has promised reimbursement but no money has been...

The room was very nice although the service was abysmal. They asked for an arrival time, and I gave them one, yet when I arrived there was a post-it note on the door saying ring this number. I did, but nobody answered and I sat on the doorstep for 40 minutes before I was let in. I was visiting Abergavenny...
