Worst hotel I have stayed at. I believe this hotel has recently changed hands and is not what it used to be. Staff wanted to know my arrival time but upon arrival on schedule on a very cold day the heating in the room was not on. It took about 7 hours for the room to be warm enough to... More

stayed in the hotel with my boyfriend for 2 nights and we had as wonderful time. Room was really comfortable, plenty of character and clean (very important). Staff was really helpful, helped us find loads of info about bangor and travelling around the place. The food was amazing. I am a vegan and its hard to find good food in... More

I stayed here for two nights and all the staff were so nice and made sure I had a great stay. My room was very clean and very nice, and I had a beautiful view of the town out of my window. The location could not be better as the hotel is literally across the street from the railway station.... More

The hotel is located above a Cantonese restaurant near the railway station. The check in was quick and efficient. My room had two singles and was at the front of the hotel. It was clean and had the usual basic requirements. The bed was quite firm. For the price paid it was very good value. At rush hour the traffic... More

Husband and wife Andrew and Alice Lui makes everyone feel at home. We thoroughly enjoy our stays here and return to see them every few months. (I find myself missing the family when i return back home!) The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. We enjoy the wonderful, freshly cooked food every night. Not only delicious but filled with... More

Stayed here for two nights mid-week with 2 friends & left very happy. The hotel itself is a little old fashioned, but for the price paid had everything you could hope & expect. The room was large, clean & comfortable but the best thing about this stay was the friendly & helpful staff, who made the process very pleasant. If... More

I especially like this hotel because everyone is always pleasant and the atmosphere is always inviting! This hotel is so close to the railway station (i get off, walk less than couple minutes and i'm literally there!), the city centre and the main arts building. For convenience and the service they offer here, i would recommend this hotel to anyone! More

The check in was quick and friendly. Bedroom was clean, tidy and very comfortable and warm. i often stay in Bangor, and this hotel is the best one so far. That is the reason why i keep returning! The breakfast is wholesome, with lots of fruit, full breakfasts or go continental (croissants, pain au choc and other pastries), simply spoilt... More

I have to say, the Garden Hotel in Bangor is one of the best hotels I have stayed in for a number of years. After having to visit Bangor for medical reasons, the garden hotel was suggested to me by a friend, who has stayed there on many occasions. The room was absolutely immaculate, the bathroom had a really good... More
