I stayed 2 nights at the Garden hotel. The strong points of the hotel are firstly the service which is excellent. All the staff I encountered were friendly, courteous, accommodating and willing to go out of their way to help. Everyone seemed to know my name and they were willing to change rooms to give me a different room. The... More

Have stayed in Bangor many times and had not previously considered this hotel, what a mistake that was. It was a lovely hotel, nice good size room, very friendly staff and the location extremely central. I thought it may be noisy due to its location but I was pleasantly surprised. We didn't have breakfast as this was extra cost, a... More

Stayed for two nights and the room was excellent and well furnished. The hotel is very near to Bangor station and accessable to all the facilities and transport. The customer service was average and the restaurent is expensive. Breakfast should be ordered before hand and it will be available for an hour.

The Garden Hotel does everything right for an excellent price - comfy bed, great shower and filling breakfast - what more could you want! On top of that, the staff were friendly and very helpful (especially the lady who was around at breakfast - I could have talked to her all day!) I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here a month ago, was a very nice hotel, exceptional value for money and ideal to explore the quaint town of Bangor, although we didn't stay for long we enjoyed our stay, although we'll probably never return to Bangor I'd have no qualms with going back to the Garden!

Just returned from The Garden Hotel , enjoyed a one night stay in this very comfortable and welcoming hotel. My son and I travelled to Bangor on Friday night so that we could attend the University open day on Saturday. It was ideal after a long train journey, only across the road from the station. It was a dark, wet... More

Easy walking distance for town, staff were very pleasant carried bag up stairs, acknowledged me when they saw me. Had a single room which felt quite spacious because of the layout, bathroom was small but functional. The hotel provided everything I needed room was clean and warm. It was handy having the restaurant down stairs, but there were several eating... More

Lovely warm welcome at the desk, even had people to carry our bags up which was well needed after a long journey. Good atmosphere in hotel - very warming and comfy (home-like). No room service but the staff will bring you what you need to the room. Very clean overall - from the entrance to the bathroom. Friendly and welcoming... More

Conveniently located close to the train station, Bangor Univ, and High Street. Very nice people at the desk and in the hotel. Food in the Chinese restaurant was satisfactory, breakfast also. Clean and comfortable room. We have stayed here before. We will probably return.
