Stayed one night after Windsor Races. Excellent stay. Only complaint was optional show gel (which would have been nice). Excellent breakfast, nice bar, excellent hospitality. Would definitely go back again!!!!!!

Stayed one night after Windsor Races. Excellent stay. Only complaint was optional show gel (which would have been nice). Excellent breakfast, nice bar, excellent hospitality. Would definitely go back again!!!!!!
For £75 plus parking we were expecting a decent three star b&b but sadly the Clarence fell way short of our expectations.
The room was depressing with tired and old sheets and blankets. There was not enough hot water for both of us to shower in the morning and when we did have hot water, the pressure of the shower...

The Clarence is good value for money , it's location is ideal - just a five minute walk up Pescod Street to Windsor Castle, the owners and staff are very helpful, and friendly, the breakfast is good, it sets you up for the day, the rooms are clean with en suites. The building is heritage listed , so the rooms...

Don't be misled by the rather bland building exterior - it is an excellent place to stay. Just spent one night while visiting Windsor sightseeing. The rear garden is small but very attractive, well kept and is high wall secluded The lounge is comfortable and airy with large leather chairs and a small bar in the corner. The dining hall...

We had a very nice stay, and were met with great hospitality and in cozy surroundings. The hotel is very convenient placed to shopping and sightseeing in Windsor. A hidden gem, and really great value for the money.
Just had 3 night stay here and mixed views. There is only parking for 4 cars which we knew so we arrived early, first car there. The rooms are not ready until 2pm so we told them we had arrived and would take a walk around Windsor, they were fine with this. The rest of the time we were there...

Booked a weekend away with friends and just wanted something cheap and cheerful in a central location. I wasn't expecting too much but was pleased that we found a little gem.
Having read previous reviews we arrived early and got a parking space.
We were fortunate to be allocated the Emma Suite on the ground floor which was a good...

Fantastic location for the money, older clean guest house with updated bathrooms. Double rooms are really small and luckily they were able to switch me to room with 2 single beds on the side of the hotel. Request room not facing the main road too noisy with street traffic. Wonderful reception, helpful with questions and they even arranged taxi service...

Friendly and great value in a quite central location, with spotlessly clean if rather small bedrooms. Breakfast very good, but do be on time! Parking throughout Windsor a bit of a pain, hotel has just four spaces on site, but if you pay for nearby on street after 8pm you get a ticket for the first two hours the following...

Good room with jacuzzi tub, close to downtown Windsor. Sauna on property and breakfast included. Good information book with details of town, history and things to do, and in good British humour. Staff helpful with pub ideas and restaurants for dinner. Would definitely return
