We checked-in for a family get together at the hotel. We had been to the hotel a couple of days prior to confirm the booking (don't live too far from hotel), and to enquire about parking. The hotel has free parking, but not enough for all its guests. We were told that we could not reserve a parking place, as... More

I decided to take my wife to Windsor & Eton last weekend for a short break. I chose the Christopher for it's quiet location & closeness to Eton School & Windsor town. Not sure why the occasional negative comment from other visitors, we couldn't fault our stay. Having been checked in by the friendly staff we spent the day exploring,... More

Booked a superior room which frankly, wasn't. The room was in the old part of the hotel and was very tired and generally shabby. Chipped bath, saggy bed and broken secondary double glazing. The heating didn't work and had to be controlled from the reception desk which was extremely inconvenient and there was a large kitchen duct outside the window... More

We stayed at The Christopher overnight recently and I'm not sure some of the other reviews have been made about the right hotel to be honest. From the minute we arrived (breathe in when you go through to the car park!) the staff couldn't have been more attentive and/or helpful. Check in was quick and easy and polite conversation was... We stayed here for convenience, which was great. Booked a junior suite, which was basically a room with a chair. All very basic , simply decorated and lacking in character and comfort. Some effort made with a book and teddy on the bed. Noisy room and very creaky floorboards above. Service and staff very average. Evening turn down happened post... More

We booked The Christopher as part of a Legoland break through Legoland holidays and were very pleased. The hotel was in a great location, within easy walking distance of Windsor and nice and close to Legoland. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful and our children liked the check in cards they had to fill out to... More

The hotel is well situated in the main street of Eton, and just a short walk over the river into Windsor. The lack of a lift in the main building would have been a problem for one of my clients, but we were reccomended the courtyard rooms and they were perfectly acceptable. Not huge, but big enough, clean and comfortable.... More

The restaurant wasnt very busy but quite noisy as many patrons using mobile phones. Initially the service was very good and drinks and menus soon arrived. The food was pretty good but expensive. The problem started when we wanted to leave as all the staff had vanished. Tired with waiting so walked into other building to pay. The bill was... More

I use this hotel alot as it's just across the road from my offices, The staff are warm and friendly and the atmosphere is very inviting, especially in the cosy bar area. Food is always appetising, fresh and well presented and reasonably priced too. The rooms themselves are smallish but perfectly acceptable, clean, tidy and well furnished, although it;s worthy... Many thanks for your positive comments regarding the hotel. There are individual thermostats on the heaters in the courtyard rooms so the temperature can be regulated by the guest and all rooms have hard wired internet access as well as wi-fi. We look forward to welcoming you to the Christopher again very soon,. More

This hotel is great and I would stay here again. The only fault I found was the noise from the hotel bar. We stayed in Room 3 which is directly above the bar so until 2am I couldn't sleep due the music which was rather loud. I did call reception around 1am, they were very polite and said they were...
