We stayed here our first night out of London. It reminded me very much of a the setting of a traditional British TV show, which was exactly the way I pictured the UK. The hosts are very kind, welcoming people. They cooked breakfast to order. It's also a very close location to Salisbury Cathedral, within walking distance.

Our family group of 9 took all 4 of Lois & John's rooms for two nights. From start to finish, we all thoroughly enjoyed the stay in Salisbury. I came to Salisbury for a break away from the big smoke on a spur of the moment trip. On arrival at Spire House, I was made very welcome by Lois and John with a minimum of fuss. The room was very nice and comfortable. The location is perfect, right in the center of town next to the cathedral.

We only stayed one night, but would gladly have stayed longer time permitting. John and Lois were extremely helpful, and were on hand to offer advice on local eateries and places to visit. This was such a great place I wish we would have stayed longer and I would go back and stay again if at all possible. It's comfortable; the owners were so kind and the food was amazing. Our whole family loved it!

Their B'nB has a very friendly atmosphere, excellent breakfast, and a marvellous location just across the road from the Salisbury Cathedral close. Lois and John are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to be helpful. We had three of the four rooms and found Spire House a great base for visiting the catheral and Stonehenge. The rooms are creatively decorated, and the breakfasts were perfect both days.

Stayed with a friend only for a night. Atmosphere and owner's welcome was so lovely, and room and house at all gave me very good cosy feeling. Breakfast is strongly recommended. I'd love to be back again!
